Hi,

I just wanted to write to say how happy my fiance and I were with our recent tour booked in Egypt.
Everything about it was fantastic, the accomodation was beautiful, everything was organised and on time and I especially want to say how fantastic our guide, Radwa was. She knew so much about all of the sights we visited, was friendly, helpful and we just had an amazing experience Egypt.

Thanks a lot for your support during this trip. We did encounter some interesting issues that were resolved thanks to your team locally. I will definitely write some words about our experience and send it to you.

I would like to express my gratitude for a wonderful vacation in Egypt. Our tour guides were exceptional as were their supervisors. The rooms, both on ship and in Cairo were fantastic. The food on ship and at the restaurants where we stopped was out of sight. I will surely recommend this vacation to anyone who should desire to see Egypt. I have always been interested in the history of Egypt, your tour guides seemed to bring the past into the present. A wonderful experience. Please thank everyone involved in our trip.

We had a fantastic and very memorable trip, and the arrangements provided by ATB Holidays were very close to perfect. We were impressed by the thoroughness of the people who helped us at the airports and by their attention to detail. Our guides were very helpful and informative and we really appreciated the insights they gave us into the history and beliefs of ancient and modern Egypt. The drivers were responsible and alert and we felt quite safe in their vans. The vans themselves were clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was adequate given the very hot temperatures we faced.

Everyone was on-time and we grew to have great confidence in their words of advice.

The hotels were excellent. We especially enjoyed the St. George in Luxor, which had the feel of an oldtime Egyptian hotel while providing excellent location and the luxuries of a 5 start hotel. We also enjoyed the Dusit in Cairo, and we fully understood why we had been placed there given our schedule for visiting the pyramids. It was very luxurious and was the ideal medicine for a family slightly fatigued from 14 days of intense travel in the Middle East. We did find "New Cairo" to be a strange ghost town, but the counterpoint of promises on billboards and shells of buildings was an interesting statement in and of itself.

Overall, we were very pleased with ATB Holidays, and I would be happy for you to use my name as a reference for future US clients if you wish.

Hello - thanks for asking - I have been thinking lots about my trip and how much  I appreciated how well-run everything was.  I did a post on Tripadvisor to say that, but I don`t see it up there yet; it comments on how well it all went.

Some exceptional things were that everyone was on time and there to meet me for everything - always easy to find who was meeting me and where I was going.  I especially enjoyed my guide for the tour of the pyramids and museum - his English was excellent and he was very knowledgable and personable.  I appreciated how everything I wanted to see got included, and was happy to have the fellucca ride instead of the market on my last afternoon.

I was not advised of the change in itinerary for Friday  until I arrived Thursday afternoon and got my new air ticket for the flight back to Cairo; it was fine, but I didn`t understand until I found out the bus wasn`t leaving until 11 (for Abu Simbel) and that was why my flight got changed (since the train arrived too late to make the early morning trip to Abu Simbel).  I would have appreciated knowing that ahead of time, and then I would have perhaps thought about having lunch to take along - as it was, I was expecting to be having lunch at the airport at noon, and so it didn`t even cross my mind until we were in the line-up waiting for the convoy to leave that I wouldn`t have a lunch.  The others in the van (who had a packed lunch with them) shared with me and that was nice.  Your people in Aswan were very flexible when I decided not to have dinner in town after all, and they just carried on with what I wanted to do - that was great.

So lots of great things about the trip and only a minor concern about being informed about the change in itinerary - overall I was very, very pleased with how you helped me see what I wanted to see in Egypt.  Many thanks to you and all your hard-working Egypt folks.

We  did really had the time of our lives in Egypt!!!! ..... thanks to you and ATB Holidays!

I must confess that we`re quite anxious to see if the trip was really going to work out as planned. After all, everything had been arranged and negotiated thru the internet with an agency we found out "googling", that is, we had never heard about it before in Brazil! As our investment was  significant, we`re afraid to have to face some unexpected and undesirable situations... but everything have gone just perfect and we couldn`t be more pleased to have believed in ATB Holidays competence!

Nonetheless, there are a few points that could be considered to make the trip even more pleasant:
- We had two flat tires during transfers (Hotel-Airport in Cairo and Alexandria-Cairo). Both of them were due to the use of refurbished tires;
- some of the explanantions regarding Egyptian ancient culture we received from the south guide and from the north guides were in conflict;
- it is important to give detailed information and specific recommendations on the excursion to climb Mount Sinai, such as bringing jackets, scarfs, sportive/adventure tennis shoes, explaning that the tourist will have to face a 3.5 km walk, climbing from 1500m to 2250m, in 2h30 to 3h. For us it was ok, but some others could be surprised to face such an exercise during vacations;

As the highlights, we would like to acknowledge that:
- everything was just on time, no delays at all;
- the domestic flights were perfect, in good airlines. And we`re also granted with a Executive class in one flight;
- the Savoy hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh and the Mena House Hotel in Cairo were simply the best hotels we have ever stayed in;
- all guides were really friendly and made all efforts the make our visits the best possible;
- all representatives were kind and gentle, always helping us from the hotel desk till the check in at the airport.

At last but not at least, I`m sure that many friends and relatives of ours are going to be fond of visiting Egypt when they hear our "trip report" and for sure we`re are going to suggest ATB Holidays as the right agency for them.
